In an increasingly digital world, the role of E-Safety has become of paramount importance in ensuring that our children and young people can access and use the internet safely.
Here at Leighswood School, we take the safety of our pupils, staff and community seriously. As such, we have extensive security measures in place in school to help safeguard pupils from any potential dangers or unsuitable material.
E-Safety is taught to all pupils, explaining and demonstrating how to stay safe and behave appropriately online. Regular workshops and advice updates are provided for parents and carers as well as members of the wider school community.
As a school we recognise the importance of a consistent home- school approach and we work closely with parents and carers to ensure the e-Safety message is consistently delivered.
We are happy to provide support for parents regarding the promotion of responsible online behaviour at home and we encourage queries and requests for specific advice regarding e safety.
Through the joint efforts of the school, and our school community, we are successful in keeping children safe online.
